The New Jersey – based Cape May Brewery is planning to roll out a new brew just in time for Pope Francis’ visit to the United States at the end of September.
Ryan Krill, president and co-founder of the craft brewery, told CNA he was raised Catholic and wanted to create a beer commemorating the historic visit. After some research, Cape May Brewery found that while Pope Francis is mostly a wine-drinker, when he does drink beer, it seems he prefers a lighter brew.
